The Cultural Stage Report in Research
Week 2013
Every
year, University of Gadjah Mada(UGM) has an event named research week. The aims
of this event are publication of ugm
research to public, introduction new technology made by student or lecturer of
UGM. This year, I joined as committee for cultural stage with my friends, Ulfa
and Khiftiyah. The cultural stage held from 13th to 16th
November 2013 (in my note).
This
event had some actress. They’re lecturer, student, or karyawan who want to
performing. Faculty of cultural science had some performance. They are Korean
language major perform Korean traditional dance, japanesse language major
perform japan traditional dance, and anthropology major perform dangdut band.
Faculty of engineering had 2 performance, karyawan teknik band and oase band.
Oase band is famous band in faculty of engineering and UGM. Oase band ever got
award as the best student band in UGM. Oase band had good skill playing music,
their vocalist sing well. They can arrangement old song to new version. Faculty
of mathematic and science, specially biology major perform drama about the
effect of imbalance ecosystem. The last perfomance on cultural stage in the
last night was from cultural religion center major. They perform drama about
tolerance with other and some culture in Indonesia.
Finally, I want to
say thanks for committee of research week giving me opportunities learn and
meet great people in UGM. See you at research week next year
